You can tap the screen to focus on the subject and use the control ring on the lens barrel to adjust aperture or shutter speed settings at the same time. It is fitted with a large one-inch sensor for capturing detailed images and Canon’s Digic 6 image processing engine to ensure that the final output is low on noise and aberrations. You also get multiple shooting modes – aperture, shutter, manual, hybrid auto, etc – with scene presets and effects including Star Trails, Super Vivid, Fish-eye Effect and Background Defocus.
