Canon has launched 9 new projectors in India under two new series, LV & XEED. LV series projectors are 3D ready and have features like an air filter free portable design, 3,000 lumens brightness, 2300:1 contrast ratio and an Eco mode that reduces power usage by 20%. The XEED series is ideal for use in class rooms and meeting rooms since uses Canon’s proprietary Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology to deliver detailed pictures with constant brightness. The projectors use an enhanced lamp lighting system and Canon claims that with network mode off, they consume as low as 0.7W electricity.
