HTC has announced a new Android smartphone for South Asian countries (including India) called the Butterfly 2. It comes with a 5-inch full HD display, dual stereo speakers and water/dust resistance. A highlight of the phone is that it features a 13MP rear camera along with the depth sensor that comes on the flagship HTC One M8. Hardware is similar to the HTC One M8: 2.5Ghz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB storage (expandable) and a 2,700mAh battery. The phone is expected to be available from September 2014. HTC has not shared any further details regarding the price.
