Western Digital
has launched a personal hard drive called My Cloud.
The WD My Cloud to the internet via its Ethernet port to access its contents
from any internet-enabled computer, smart phone or tablet running the My Cloud
app/ software. Additionally, Mac and PC users can also log in from a web browser.
The device lets you connect to your Dropbox account for data transfer across
storage services and also schedule automatic backups with the included WD
Smartware Pro software. It’s a device that makes sure you’re never too far away
from your data, pictures and multimedia content whenever you need it.
