MICROMAX unveiled a new Android smartphone -- the Canvas Blaze HD (EG 116) at a price point of Rs16,000. The Canvas Blaze is a CDMA+GSM dual-sim phone that sports a 5-inch 720p display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB RAM, and comes with 4GB internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 2,000mAh battery. The phone sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and EVDO Rev A (high speed data on CDMA).
