Days ahead of the Mobile World Congress, the specifi cations of HTC’s new mid-range smartphone, Desire 8, have surfaced online. According to Evleaks, the phone will 5.5” 720p Super LCD2 display, and will be powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 processor and 1.5GB RAM. It will feature a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera. While the operating system version is not known, the evleaks’ post claims that the phone will run the new version of HTC’s user interface layer Sense 6.0. The phone will be unveiled on Feb 24, opening day of MWC.
