BlackBerry is rolling out a new version of its Messenger service. Users on Android and iPhone will now be able to make free voice calls to BBM contacts over a Wi-Fi or cellular data connection with BBM Voice. They will also be able to access BBM Channels that allows users to chat with other BBM users on topics that interest them. They will also get features like one-click sharing of photos, documents, voice notes etc. The new version also comes with built-in support for Dropbox. Users can send a file from their personal cloud directly to a BBM contact. The receiver can save the file directly to the smartphone or add it to a Dropbox account.
