BSNL and Pantel Technologies have jointly launched Penta Smart PS501 Android smartphone. It has a 5-inch IPS Capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and it is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 Processor. BSNL Penta Smart PS501 has a 5 MP camera with the LED flash, and a VGA camera for the video chatting. It has 512MB RAM, 4GB On-board memory and Expandable up to 32GB with Micro SD slot. It also comes with Dual SIM Support with Dual Standby and connectivity features include 3G, WI-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, GPS support. The battery included in the PS501 has a capacity of 1800 mAh and the standby time expected to be provided is
around 100 hours.
