Olympus has launched its first premium, compact point shoot camera called Stylus 1. It has a magnesium alloy body similar to their premium OM-D E-M5. Imaging duties are courtesy the large (1/1.7-inch) 12MP BSI sensor while a fixed i.Zuiko lens gives it 10.7x optical zoom. It has f2.8 aperture, ISO 12,800, 25 focus points, 3-inch tilting touchscreen, electronic viewfinder, built-in flash, hybrid control ring and WiFi for image transfer and remote control. The whole camera weighs 400 grams. It comes with full HD video and microHDMI port to connect to a larger display.
