Free messenger application LINE has crossed 300 million
users worldwide and 10 million users in India. By 2015, messenger service is
expected to reach another milestone of 450 million download hits worldwide. Line
has a large user base in Taiwan, India, Thailand, Indonesia and Spain. Line is
similar to other P2P mobile messengers such as BBM, WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat and
Hike, but the main interesting features of LINE are its stickers, voice chat
and video call support. LINE messenger is available for different platforms
including, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and Nokia Asha
feature phones.
