Gionee has launched its GPad G3. The G3 is one of the first smartphones under `10,000 with a 5.5-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad core Mediatek processor, PowerVR SGX544 graphics, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It has dual cameras — 5MP autofocus with LED flash on the rear and a front VGA camera. You also get the usual 3G support (with dual SIMs), WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It comes with a 2,250mAh battery, microSD slot (up to 32GB cards supported), proximity sensor, light sensor, G-sensor and compass. Gionee claims that the Yamaha audio chipset in the device offers better quality audio output.
