HTC has announced the company’s latest mid-range Android smartphone Desire 601. It has a polycarbonate body with 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display and offers HTC's slew of UI enhancements such as Sense 5 interface, Blinkfeed and Zoe camera mode. It is 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. On board it has 8GB of storage which fortunately can be expanded with microSD. It sports a 5-megapixel rear with LED Flash and a VGA front-facing camera. HTC Desire 601 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and it packs a 2100 mAh non-removable battery.
