In Gmail, now you can sort emails as per content:- in Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums. Primary is all the person-to-person mails; Social are emails from social networking sites; Promotions are the marketing emails; Updates are autogenerated receipts, confirmations, etc.; and Forums contain mails from online groups and discussion boards. If you don’t find it already enabled, you can click on the gear in the top-right on the main Gmail page and under the menu, click on 'Configure inbox', and select tabs to enable. You can uncheck to go back to the old inbox.Separate Emails on Gmail
