After Microsoft made available its Office 365 on iPad a couple of months ago, it’s now bringing it to Android OS, but only on phones and not tablets. That means you will be able to look at, edit and save Word documents, Excel sheets etc on the phone. The download itself is free. But if you want to use it, you need to be a paid subscriber to Office. It remains to be seen how many will go in for this, since editing documents and Excel sheets is cumbersome on small-phone screens. Wonder why Android tablets have been left out when iPad has been included.
