Instagram, the popular video-sharing app, has announced an update. It now lets you upload videos directly from the media library of the phone. Now, you can randomly shoot 15-sec video clips and decide later which ones to upload. The videos imported from the gallery can also be edited for length and square-cropped to conform to Instagram standards. The other major feature of the update is that the video recording feature is available for Android Ice-cream users. When it was launched it covered only the higher version of Jelly Bean, leaving a large number of smartphone users out of the fold.
