Canonical, the firm behind Ubuntu is going to bring the Ubuntu Edge to market. Backed by Canonical (the firm behind Ubuntu), the Edge is a smartphone that dual boots Ubuntu and Android. The designers want it to be a smartphone when you’re moving around and a fully capable Ubuntu PC when connected to a larger display using HDMI. Although exact specs are not released, the designers expect it to have a multi-core processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB of flash storage
