Finally, Facebook verifying the accounts of celebrities, brands, journalists, business etc. Twitter already has these feature called Verified Account.
Facebook will now add a Verification Badge to the profile/page in question, so that users are assured of the accounts automatically. this will help weed out fake accounts of well-known personalities. Official page and profiles that do not get the verification Badge (Shown in circle) can contact the company via its help center to address the issue. they can also report fake profile and pages to Facebook.
