One of the major changes to the home screen of Windows 8 operating system was that the familiar Start button, which lets you access all programs in one place, had gone missing. People were so disappointed with the missing Start button that replacement tools saw very high downloads. Probably as a response to the all-round criticism, Microsoft has decided to bring back the Start button in the next version of Windows 8.1. According to Verge, “The button will act as a method to simply access the Start Screen, and will not include the traditional Start Menu.”
