Huawei has launched a new smartphone to its Ascend series. Ascend G510 is a mid-range phone with a 4.5-inch display (854 x 480 pixels) It comes with Huawei's new Emotion UI that offers multiple customisable widgets and themes. Inside the 9.9mm slim design is a 1.2Ghz dual core Qualcomm processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card) and a 1,750mAh battery. Huawei claims that thanks to its power saving technology, the phone offers good battery life. Connectivity is taken care with WiFi, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth and DLNA. On the rear is a 5MP autofocus camera while a VGA front camera is included for video calls.
