Canon has launched the world's smallest and lightest DSLR with an APS-C sensor but Canon does not cut down on features. It shoots at 18MP resolution, has a Digic 5 image processor, 4fps shooting speed, built-in flash and a 9-point autofocus system. EOS100D has a viewfinder as well as a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display. Controls & button layout is similar to the other Canon entry level DSLRs but it adds an updated version of Canon's Hybrid (phase + contrast) autofocus system that allows for continuous autofocus while recording full HD videos.
