God of War Ascension (Rs.2,999 for PS3 only) is a prequel to the entire popular God of War series. You play as Kratos, trying to find a way to break his oath to Ares — the God of War. Breaking an oath to a God is not easy and the entire game is about trying to find out how. Graphics have been improved, the new environments are gorgeous & the level of detail is breathtaking. The 8 person multiplayer modes are great fun and keep you hooked to the game even after the single player campaign is finished. Overall, the game is slightly disappointing (especially compared to others in the series) because of the loose storyline in single player mode.
