Google may have come a little late to video conferencing, but they’re very crafty when it comes to keep tweaking their products. The latest update for Google Hangouts this week was allow you to tweak a slider to improve your experience based on your bandwidth capabilities. Tim Blasi of Google said that the new bandwidth slider “lets you adjust your bandwidth preferences in real-time — from high, all the way to audio-only. This makes it easier to keep hangouts going, even in areas with poor connectivity.” Unfortunately these changes are only available on the desktop as of yet. Google also introduced Hangouts as the default video chat tool in India.
