HCL has announced a new Android tablet called Me G1. This new tablet from HCL has a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) touchscreen and weighs about 570 grams. Specifications include Android 4.0, 1.2Ghz dual core processor, quad core Mali 400 graphics, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card). It supports 3G via USB data cards and also comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. You also get dual cameras; 2MP rear and VGA front and a fairly larger 7,000 mAh battery. Like other HCL tablets, the G1 unfortunately does not come with Google Play app store - users have to use HCL's own ME app store to download apps.
