Samsung Galaxy Note 2 sales crossed 5 million units
within two months. It took approximately a month for Samsung to sell the first three
million units, and sales are obviously still going strong after Samsung brought
the device on October 24. The sales growth was more than two times faster than
its previous model Galaxy Note, of which sales breached the 5-million mark in
five months since its rollout. Samsung said the Galaxy Note 2 has been sold in
various regions across the globe, including Asia, Europe, North America, South
America and Africa. The Samsung Galaxy Note II, successor of the Galaxy Note,
packs in a 5.5-inch (1,280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6 GHz
quad-core Exynos processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a
8MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back and a 1.9MP front-facing
camera. It comes with an improved S Pen and new features including Air
View, Popup Note multi-window and more. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB
internal memory, expandable memory up to 64GB with microSD and 3,100mAh
battery.
