Keeping up with Max Payne traditional style, this third instalment offers a gripping story with plenty of well-done cutscenes. You run around a town in Brazil where Max Payne failed to protect the kidnapping of a businessman's wife — he now has to rescue her. Unlike some other shooting games, Max Payne is not just about blowing stuff up — you also have to look for clues and work out tricks to finish missions. Bullet Time (slow motion) and Shoot Dodge (move to evade damage) maneuvers have been improved from the predecessor and add to the overall fun of the game. Max Payne fans will love it & action/shooting fans should make sure not to miss out either.
