HX10V is successor to the Sony's compact travel-zoom camera HX9V. It features an upgraded 18MP CMOS sensor, increased ISO range up to 12,800 (instead of 16MP and 3200 ISO), a built-in speaker as well as improved battery life. The HX10V is slightly heavier at 245 grams (HX9V is 235 grams) and skips the manual focus option. Other features remain the same: 16X optical zoom, full HD video recording, 3D sweep panorama, Sony Bionz image processor, 3-inch LCD, manual exposure controls, builtin GPS/ compass, pop-up flash and HDMI out.
