The new EOS 650D has some significant updates over the EOS 600D — Digic 5 image processor, 3-inch articulating touchscreen, 9 cross-type autofocus points, 5FPS continuous shooting speed and ISO up to 25,600. The camera features a new hybrid CMOS autofocus system that enables continuous autofocus in movie mode as well as faster autofocus during regular photography. Other features remain the same: 18MP CMOS sensor, pop-up flash, full HD video recording with stereo audio, mini HDMI out port and a claimed battery life of 440 shots. It even weighs the same as the EOS 600D at 575 grams.
