This hybrid ultrabook tablet has a 11.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that locks firmly at a specific angle for use as a laptop. Being an ultrabook, it is less than 2 cm thick, weighs about 1.3 kg and features a third generation Intel Core processor. Other features include 4GB RAM, HDMI out, USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0, Windows 8 and a claimed battery life of up to 8 hours. It is expected to be available internationally in September 2012 for an estimated price of US$ 1,100. A cheaper version of the same device with a lower powered processor should be priced at around US$ 900.
