The successor to the first Optimus 3D has the same 4.3-inch capacitive glasses free (autostereoscopic) 3D display and 8GB internal storage (expandable via microSD) but hardware has been bumped up to a dual core 1.2 Ghz processor with 1GB RAM. The dual 5MP cameras at the back are capable of clicking images and recording 720p HD videos in 3D. An MHL port has replaced HDMI port and NFC wireless connectivity has been added. The phone comes with Android 2.3 with a planned upgrade to Android 4.0 coming soon.
