Acer's M3 is the world's first ultrabook with a 15.6-inch screen, dedicated graphics card and optical-drive. Despite the screen size, it weighs under 2.3kg and is just 20mm thick. It's powered by a second generation Intel Core processor, 4GB RAM and Nvidia GT640M graphics running on Windows 7 Home Premium. To ensure a fast boot and wake time, it uses a 16GB SSD in conjunction with the 500GB hard drive. For connectivity, it has three USB ports (including USB 3.0), Ethernet, HDMI and SD card slot. Acer claims that the M3's battery is good for over 8 hours of use.
