Research In Motion (RIM) has launched mini keyboard for Blackberry PlayBook. Users who would like to extend the functionality of the tablet and use a physical keyboard instead of the on-screen keyboard. The keyboard enables users to view the full screen while using the tablet. The keyboard functions a touchpad with multi-touch functionality. It comes with an in built battery pack, and uses 128-bit encrypted wireless connectivity over Bluetooth. However, the encryption is supported only by PlayBook. The battery life is 30 days. The convertible case lets users carry the tablet with the keyboard.
