Google Currents is a news aggregator that displays various feeds in a magazine-style interface. At first launch, you have to log-in to your Google account and then choose from a library of various news providers, feeds from Google reader or just browse top trending stories across categories. It's all very simple, really — tapping on an article header shows you the detailed article — you can choose to either see it in its original browser version, share it to various social networks or save it for later reading. The interface is intuitive and shows all text articles in one section and videos in another. It dynamically updates the news feed without having to tap a sync button.
