Unlike the free Photoshop Express, which offers basic editing tools and filters, Photoshop Touch ($9.99) is a more complete image editing application designed for tablets. It offers several advanced features like precise selection within an image, filters and adjustments. You can start off by exploring the various tutorials, which take you through the various tools available and how to use them. A nice feature is the ability to select images stored on the device, take a new photo, search Google images or Facebook — all from within the app. But once you start using it, you’ll realise certain limitations. For starters, it’s difficult to find the tools you need at a glance because they’re sometimes hidden away — you need to tap to reveal. It can be a little slow to show results as you work, plus the max image size is restricted to only 1600 x 1600 pixels.
