WinZip is one of the most wellknown programs for handling zip files. With the iOS version, WinZip offers a similar integration option for your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad as on Windows. Once the free app is installed, it adds itself to the 'Open With' menu of the email and browser of your device. Simply select 'Open with WinZip' for the attachment in the mail or the 'Open with WinZip' button in the browser. The app then displays the files inside the archive (it works with password protected files too). You can preview supported file formats within the Win-Zip app, but there is no option to open them in any other application for editing. Once a file is opened in WinZip, it is saved and can be viewed anytime.
