Attano eReader is the only app that offers purchase of educational eBooks in India. Books are available from kindergarten to 12th class and are priced up to 20% lower than actual paper books. Purchased books can be downloaded directly to the app — once downloaded, you can read them without an internet connection. Books are displayed as large icons in a book shelf interface with the book cover visible — this makes it easy to browse and find a book. As expected, swiping left/right flips the pages. You can bookmark a page, highlight text and even add notes to a specific page in a book — useful for quick access to a particular topic.
