The ChildPad is a tablet specifically for children. It's also the cheapest 7-inch tablet with the latest Android 4.0 operating system. For just US$ 129, you get a 1Ghz processor, 1GB RAM, a child-friendly interface with large icons and a special app store (powered by AppsLib) that the makers claim will have over 10,000 kid friendly apps. A parental control software will also be pre-installed. It should be available for purchase in international markets early next month.
