Chandler is a cross-platform (Windows, MAC, Linux), open-source desktop calendar application. The makers describe it as a ‘note-toself’ style organiser software. Essentially, it manages all your personal information, including email, appointments, notes, tasks, contacts and documents. When notes get added to the calendar, they become events. Notes can also be organized into collections with a triage status (Now, Later, Done) — you can collaborate with others or set it to remind you of tasks via email.
