Mac OS X does not come with an uninstaller by default and manually deleting apps leaves a lot of trace files behind. AppCleaner is a free app that makes removing applications hassle free. It shows you a list of all the applications, widgets and plugins installed on your machine. You can select one or multiple applications to remove and click on search at the bottom. AppCleaner then scans your system and shows all the files affiliated with the selected application. You can choose to delete all or select related files of the application by clicking on ‘delete’ at the bottom.
