Webroot is a free, all in one security and privacy protection app for Android Smartphone and tablets. Download it from App Market and you will need to spend a minute setting it up – adding up a 5 alternate ‘buddy’ numbers where alerts will be sent. It runs in the backgrounds, scans for malicious files and blocks harmful websites. If your device gets lost, sending a simple SMS to it can lock it down, sound an alarm or help trace its location using Google Maps (the details are sent to your buddies).
