Samsung India has added two new phones to the Galaxy range of smart phones-Galaxy R and Galaxy S Plus. Both device run Android 2.3 have 8GB onboard storage (expandable via microSD) as well as 3G, Wi-Fi with hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0, a 5 MB rear camera and front VGA camera. The Galaxy R is a low cost version of the Galaxy S11 and comes with a 4.2-inch super clear display(instead of super Amoled Plus) a dual core 1Ghz processor (instead of 1.2Ghz) and 1 GB RAM . The Galaxy S Plus on the other hand, is an update to the existing Galaxy S. it has an upgraded single core 1.4 GHz processor, 512MB RAM and TV out functionality. The 4-inch super amoled screen from the Galaxy S is unchanged.
