Multibar is a multi-function dock that offers functionality beyond being just an application launcher. The dock can be placed on any side of the desktop and can be set to either appear on a 'mouseover' or only when the drop down icon is clicked. There is also a mini view that shows tiny icons instead of large icons if space is restricted - such as a netbook. The software comes with a smart search widget that shows results from your PC and from the internet. There is also a weather widget that displays the temperature for your current location and forecasts weather for the next five days with a single click. A variety of other widgets can be added - a video player, download manager, planner, screenshot tool and so on. You can also save some time opening recently opened files, because the dock shows recent files when you hover the cursor over any app in the dock. Applications can be added and removed from the bar by simply dragging and dropping.
