Video looks great on iPad, but converting various formats to MP4 for the iPad is a huge hassle. With an app called Player Xtreme, you don't have to worry about converting videos anymore. Just copy-paste video files onto your iPad using the 'Apps' section in iTunes. When you run the app, it will display all the files in a tiled view (with support for folder navigation). Double tab the video you want to watch and it will instantly start playing it, irrespective of format. We were able to play highly compressed 720p HD files on an iPad without a hitch. It is currently in the App Store for free and is a must-have for video buffs. A version of the app is also available for the iPod Touch and iPhone
