Most will mistake the Tursion TS-102 as a standard pico-projector. However, it is the world's first pico projector that runs operating system. Powered by a 624Mhz dual-core processor the device comes with 8GB internal storage and has a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 16GB supported) present in its compact body. It runs Android 2.1 Eclair operating system, which seems unlikely to be updated to Android 2.2 or 2.3. There are control buttons on top and an integrated trackpad on top to navigate between apps. Wi-Fi is present for wireless connectivity and a remote is also included to control various functions. The pico-projector is capable of displaying content in 800x600 pixel resolution with 20 lumens brightness with image as large as 100-inches. There is a miniscule 1.5W speaker also present on the device along with a rechargeable battery that is good enough for 80 minutes of continuous projection in high brightness mode. The projector is priced at USD $445.
