Just a few, weeks after Dell discontinued its 5-inch Dell Streak phone/tablet, Samsung has announced something similar to fill the void. The Samsung Galaxy Note can work both as a tablet and a phone. It has a 5.3-inch super AMOLED touchscreen with a 1280x800 pixel resolution. It also includes a stylus to take notes-hence the name. You can choose between 16/32GB storage while the device runs Android 2.3 on a dual core 1.4Ghz processor, 1GB RAM with 3G, Wi-Fi with hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth, GPS and optional NFC support. The camera is an 8MP AF unit with LED flash that records videos in 1080p resolution while a front 2MP camera does duty for video calls. No official launch date or price has been announced but we expect it to arrive towards the end of this year, priced somewhere between `35,000
