The Lavie Touch tablet from NEC aims to provide a richer out-of-box experience as compared to usual tablets. It comes with a wireless mouse, wireless mouse, wireless keyboard and a dock with integrated optical drive. Since it runs Windows 7 Home Premium, it is capable of utilizing all these accessories to the fullest. The 10.1-inch IPS multi-touch display has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels while the hardware inside is an Intel 1.5Ghz processor, 2GB RAM and 64GB SSD for storage. It also has an HDMI output, 2 full size USB 2.0 ports, a card reader and the usual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity. It is expected to launch internationally sometime next month, at a price of USD$1,200 (with all the accessories included).
