It does not take a genius to figure that Google+ is the behemoth's answer to Facebook in an attempt to claim its spot in the social media space. Released on September 20, Google Plus has so far got a mixed response. However, one feature that seems to be giving Google's site an edge is the hangouts in air offering. The feature took Google Plus from just being another social networking site attempting to dethrone Facebook, to seriously poaching the latter's user base. Hangouts on air allows e-web conferencing up to 10 people. The interaction can be recorded as well. Businesses can, therefor, use the Google+ social network for video conferencing, online presentations and general collaboration.
