Computer peripheral manufacture iBall announced its foray into the budget tablet segment with the iBall Slide. It has a 7-inch capacitive display with multi-touch and runs Android 2.3. The tablet is powered by a 1Ghz processor and comes with 8GB onboard storage expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB supported). For connectivity it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and also supports 3G data cards (connected via USB host port). There is a 2MP front camera for video calls and a mini HDMI out to connect the tablet to a television. It has two mini USB host and the other works as USB on the go to connect USB flash drives. Battery life is claimed at 6.5 hours for music and 5 hours for video playback.
