LG's latest smartphone - Optimus Sol,aims to compete with Samsung's Super AMOLED display by being the first one to come with a 3.8-inch ultra Amoled display. The Ultra Amoled display claims to offer better clarity and sharper images as compared to regular Amoled displays. The phone runs a 1Ghz processor with 512MB RAM and comes with 150MB onboard storage expandable via microSD slot. In its 9.8mm slim body, the phone houses a 5MB camera on the rear and a front VGA camera along with 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, DLNA as well as Wi-Fi Direct for connectivity. Android 2.3 is the operating system of choice and the phone is expected to arrive in international markets late September. In india, we expect it to be priced around `20,000, just above the LG Optimus black.
