Beetel seems to have broken the price barrier with the magiq-a 7-inch, 1Ghz Android tablet priced under `10,000. The Magiq runs Android 2.2 on a 1GHZ processor with 512MB RAM and comes with 8GB onboard storage (expand up to 16GB via microSD). It is 3G ready (regular sim card slot) and can also be used as a phone. The device has Wi-Fi with hotspot, Bluetooth, Gprs and dual 2MB cameras. An interesting feature is it built in kickstand- the magiq can stay upright on its own - useful for videos and photos. Only downsides are that it has a resistive touchscreen (without multi touch) and weights a hefty 500 grams.
